  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 c. flour
  • 6 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 qt. blueberries

    Sift dry ingredients together.

    Add rest of ingredients.

    Mix with an electric mixer until well blended (3 minutes).

    Batter will be stiff.

    Pour into a 13 x 9-inch greased and floured pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
