- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
Directions

1In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and cornstarch until evenly blended, then stir in the blueberries, water, and cinnamon.

2Bring to a boil over medium heat and simmer until slightly thickened.

3Remove from the heat and stir in the juice.

4Spoon into a heat-proof glass bowl and serve warm or cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week.

5Reheat in the microwave on medium power for 45 seconds or on the stove over low heat.
