  • Crushed ice
  • 1 ounce bourbon, preferably Makers Mark
  • 1 ounce bonded rye whiskey, preferably Rittenhouse 100
  • 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce orgeat (almond-flavored syrup)
  • Powdered sugar and 1 mint sprig, for garnish

Directions

    Fill a cocktail shaker with crushed ice.

    Add the bourbon, rye whiskey, Grand Marnier, lemon juice and orgeat and shake well.

    Pour the drink unstrained into a chilled double rocks glass and add more crushed ice.

    Sift powdered sugar over the mint sprig and garnish the drink.
