- 6 red baking apples
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Core the apples and peel halfway down. Place apples in a baking dish, with the peeled side up.

3Melt the butter, then stir in the flour, cinnamon and brown sugar.

4Spoon the mixture onto the tops and into the centers of the apples. Sprinkle with pecans.

5Bake 10 minutes until crusty, then lower the heat to 350°.

6Bake 30 minutes until tender.
