  • 6 to 8 hard-boiled eggs, shelled
  • 3/4 c. pickled beet juice
  • 1/2 c. wine vinegar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

Directions

    Put eggs in a quart jar.

    Mix together beet juice, vinegar, bay leaf, cloves, salt and garlic.

    Heat, but do not boil.

    Add to eggs in jar.

    Store in refrigerator at least 24 hours.
