- 1 qt. milk
- 6 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla or flavoring of choice
Directions

1Scald milk. Beat eggs well.

2Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch to eggs.

3Stir constantly while adding the hot milk. Cook in double boiler, stirring until the mixture thickens and coats a spoon. Cool and add flavoring.

4Chill overnight. It is better real cold. Will keep well 2 or 3 days.
