  • 1 gal. milk
  • 3 1/2 to 4 c. sugar
  • 9 eggs
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • vanilla to taste (I use approximately 2 Tbsp.)

    Scald milk.

    Beat eggs, sugar and flour together.

    Add gradually to milk, stirring constantly.

    Cook until mixture starts to thicken.

    Add vanilla to taste.
