Ingredients

  • 1 large head Chinese cabbage
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 pkg. Ramen noodles (without seasoning)
  • 1/2 c. sesame seed
  • 1 small pkg. slivered almonds
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. vinegar

Directions

    Chop cabbage and onion.

    Mix together. Cover and set aside. Break noodles in package. Saute noodles, sesame seed and almonds in butter or margarine until light brown.

    Cool on absorbent paper. Bring last 4 ingredients to a boil and cool. Store 3 mixtures separately in refrigerator.

    Combine them immediately before serving.
