- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. beet juice
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- 1 c. shredded cabbage
- 1 can sliced beets
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/3 tsp. pepper
Directions

1In a pan, saute onions in butter.

2Add to pan with all the other ingredients.

3Cover and cook about 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender.

4Serve with sour cream saltines.

5Can be eaten without cream.

6You can add more cabbage and beets to recipe.
