- 1 lb. onions
- butter
- 1 lb. cabbage, sliced
- 3 c. beets
- 1 c. beet juice
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 3 c. canned tomatoes
- 2 green peppers, sliced
- salt
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- sour cream

3in butter 15 minutes.

6and beets; mix with stock and let boil for 15 minutes.

7Add tomato paste, tomatoes, garlic and green peppers.

9slowly 15 to 20 minutes.

10Add beet juice, lemon, sugar and vinegar.

11Simmer 2 to 3 minutes.

12Salt to taste.
