- 4 cups navy beans
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 12 lb salt pork
Directions

1Soak beans overnight.

2Drain, cover with fresh water.

3Bring to boil, simmer until tender, drain.

4Pour 1/2 of beans into bean pot.

5Combine remaining ingredients and add to pot.

6Pour in remaining beans.

7Cover with boiling water and bake 8 hours at 250 degrees.

8Watch & add more water if necessary.
