- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi sweet chocolate pieces
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1 c. finely chopped walnuts
- 1/3 c. bourbon
- 1 pkg. (7 1/4 oz.) vanilla wafers (42 wafers) finely crushed
- Extra sugar for rolling cookies
Directions

1Melt chocolate over hot water.

2Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup sugar and the corn syrup.

3Blend in bourbon.

4Combine crumbs and nuts,

5add chocolate mixture and blend well.

6Shape quickly into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar.

7Store in airtight container and let stand several days to ripen before serving. Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
