Bourbon Balls

- 1/4 c. bourbon
- 2 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
- 1 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers
- 1 c. finely chopped pecans
- 1 c. confectioners sugar plus some extra
Directions

1In a medium sized mixing bowl, thoroughly stir together the bourbon and corn syrup.

2Add wafer crumbs, pecans and 1 cup confectioners sugar.

3Mix thoroughly until soft and sticky.

4Spoon portions (1/2 tablespoon each) of mixture onto waxed paper generously covered with confectioners sugar.

5Roll each portion into a small ball; roll again in confectioners sugar.

6Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight before serving.

7Balls will keep for weeks in refrigerator.
