Bourbon Based Salmon

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb salmon fillets
- 1 Marinade
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 to 4 tablespoons of good bourbon
- 3 tbsp green onions, chopped small
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 inch fresh ginger,peeled and finely chopped
Directions

1place salmon skin down in shallow baking dish, making sure it can lay flat.

2remove any bones
-
3in a small bowl mix all ingredients of the marinade.

4pour marinade over fish and let it sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

5turn the fish over so the skin is up, and refrigerate for another 30 min.

6take the salmon out and brush with a little vegetable oil.

7put on a medium hot grill Skin side up.

8cook 4 to 5 min.

9to get nice grill marks.

10if you , lift and turn 45 and grill for another 4 to 5 min.
-
11fish is done when you can easily slide the fish off the skin.

12when you flip the fish over the second time baste with a little of the marinade.

13this can be served hot or cold!
