Ingredients

  • 4 slices Bacon, Diced
  • 1/4 cups Onion, Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Bourbon
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Red Beans, Drained And Rinsed
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Pinto Beans, Drained And Rinsed
  • 1 can (14.5 Oz. Can) Tomatoes, Chopped And Drained
  • 1/4 cups Ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Molasses
  • 1 Tablespoon Prepared Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco

Directions

    Saute bacon over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened.

    TAKE YOUR PAN OFF THE HEAT. Deglaze with bourbon. Do not do this on the stove or you will have a fire!!

    Return pan to the burner and simmer until bourbon is nearly evaporated. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and then reduce to medium-low heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
