- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 egg, beaten
- bourbon
Directions

1For best flavor use real butter.

2Mix butter, sugar and water in saucepan and heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture very hot but not boiling.

3Gradually pour some hot mixture into the egg, beating as you do so.

4Pour egg mixture into remaining hot mixture, continuing to beat.

5Let cool and add bourbon to taste.
