Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean beef chuck or rump, cut in cubes
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Wesson oil
- 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
Directions

1Coat beef cubes with flour, salt and pepper.

2Brown in hot Wesson oil.

3Add celery and onion; brown lightly.

4Add remaining ingredients, including remaining seasoned flour; stir well.

5Cover and cook over low heat 1 to 1 1/2 hours, until tender.

6Stir occasionally.

7Serve with hot noodles, rice or mashed potatoes. Serves 4.
