  • 7 c. Raisin Bran flakes (15 oz. box)
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs, beaten or Egg Beaters or Second Nature
  • 5 c. plain flour
  • 5 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 to 3 c. sugar
  • 1 qt. buttermilk

Directions

    Mix dry ingredients.

    Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Spray muffin pans with vegetable shortening.

    Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.

    Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.

    Batter can be kept in the refrigerator up to 6 weeks and cooked as needed.
