  • 1 c. shortening (margarine)
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. All-Bran
  • 4 c. Bran Buds
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 qt. buttermilk
  • 5 tsp. soda
  • 5 c. flour

Directions

    Add boiling water to shortening and let melt.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Mix well.

    Bake at 350° to 400° for 20 minutes. Mixture will keep in refrigerator for 6 weeks.

    Bake as needed. Makes good blueberry muffins.

    Add to mixture before baking.
