- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 2 oz. brandy, rum or bourbon
Directions

1Melt margarine in saucepan.

2Add sugar.

3Reduce heat and add vanilla.

4Beat eggs and add slowly, stirring to prevent eggs from cooking.

5Reduce heat to very low after sugar is melted.

6Add brandy; stir briskly.

7Refrigerate to keep.

8Serve warm over bread pudding.
