- 14 cup unsalted butter, cup
- 12 cup sugar
- 14 cup cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon brandy (or rum)
Directions

1Use a good quality Cognac.

2In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and sugar on medium-low heat until it turns a golden color.

3Whisk in the cream and simmer a minute or so until the sauce has thickened.

4Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and brandy.

5Drizzle over each slice of cranberry pudding.

6This sauce can he refrigerated until needed and then reheated.
