Ingredients
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. water (not hot)
- 3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
Directions

1Mix lukewarm water and yeast; set aside.

2Mix together oil, salt, sugar and 1 cup water; then add yeast.

3Add flour.

4Make into a dough ball; coat bowl and top of dough ball with oil.

5Cover with a tea towel and put in a warm place, or in sink with warm water. Let rise about 1 or 1 1/2 hours.

6Punch down.

7Let rise again about 1 1/2 hours or until doubled in size.

8Make rolls.

9Let them rise about 1 hour.

10Bake at 350° until light brown.

11If you like a soft crust, coat baked rolls with butter and cover with tea towel for 5 minutes.

12To make sweet rolls, add more sugar.
