- 1/3 c. raisins
- 5 slices bread (thin)
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Line bottom of a greased dish with raisins.

2Cut bread in 3 strips, crosswise.

3Dip in melted butter, in skillet or frypan brown lightly.

4Then arrange on top of raisins in dish.

5Beat the remaining ingredients, pour over bread and raisins.

6Set dish in a pan of hot water.

7Bake at 375° about 30 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
