  • 4 c. soft white bread cubes (5 slices)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 3 c. warm water
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Butter Rum Sauce

    This makes 6 to 9 servings.

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Place bread cubes in buttered 9-inch square baking pan.

    In large bowl, beat egg and cinnamon; add remaining ingredients except Butter Rum Sauce.

    Pour evenly over bread cubes, moistening completely.

    Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm with Butter Rum Sauce.
