  • 8 thick slices bread
  • 3 oz (84 grm) butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups (475 ml) milk
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) currants
  • nutmeg

    Beat eggs, add milk and sugar.
