- 2 loaves frozen bread
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 c. grated cheese
- jalapeno pepper, chopped (to taste)
- salt and pepper
- mushrooms, chopped (optional)
- green pepper, chopped (optional)
Directions

1Let bread rise.

2Roll both loaves into a rectangle about 1/2-inch thick.

3Brown ground meat, sausage and onions.

4Drain. Add other ingredients and mix well.

5Spread meat evenly on the dough.

6Roll dough starting on long side, like a jelly roll.

7Put roll on cookie sheet.

8Curve dough into a horseshoe shape.

9Brush with cooking oil.

10Cover with foil.

11Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes.

12Remove foil at the end of cooking time so it will brown.
