Ingredients
- 1 loaf white bread
- 3 onions
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 2 Tbsp. fresh minced parsley
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. thyme (powdered)
- 1 tsp. bell seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. margarine
Directions

1Melt margarine in frying pan.

2Add onions, celery and parsley; saute until tender.

3Run slices of bread under cold water until moist (not soaking) and mash with hands.

4When mixed well, add onions, celery, parsley and spices; mix well with a large spoon. Put in roasting pan around chicken or turkey about 1 1/2 hours before meat is done.

5Baste with juices of meat occasionally for flavor and moistness.

6Seasoning may be adjusted to suit your taste.
