  • 4 c. dry bread (cubed white toast and cornbread)
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 3 stalks of chopped celery
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • sage (to taste)
  • 1/3 c. melted butter or margarine
  • Hot broth or water

    Saute onions and celery in butter.

    Combine all ingredients, and add liquid to moisten.
