- 8 to 10 c. bread
- 1 c. Crisco oil
- 3/4 c. onion
- 1 1/2 c. celery
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. sage
- 3 Tbsp. water
Directions

1Saute onion, oil and celery.

2Add salt, pepper and sage while breaking up bread in big bowl.

3Let sauteed ingredients cool. Pour sauteed ingredients onto bread; mix thoroughly.

4Add water. Clean turkey, stuff, tie off and cook as directed.

5Makes 3 quarts in a 12-pound turkey.
