- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans diced tomatoes (undrained)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 slices bread, toasted and cut into 1/4-inch cubes
Directions

1In a large saucepan, saute onion in margarine until tender; stir in flour until blended.

2Add the tomatoes, sugar, oil, salt and pepper.

3Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until slightly thickened.

4Stir in toast cubes.
