  • 1 breadfruit large, very soft and ripe
  • 5 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • brown sugar cup organic
  • 1/2 cup agave syrup dark
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange peel or orange zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 9 inches unbaked pie crust

    Mash, and set aside.

    In a large bowl, mix spices, sugars, salt, and orange zest. Beat eggs

    And add to bowl. Add mashed breadfruit.

    Put in a blender and puree. Pour into pie shell.

    Cover piecrust rim with foil. Bake at 350° for 40-60 minutes
