Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 lb Shredded jack cheese
  • 1/2 lb Meat of choice (we like sausage and bacon)
  • 1 bunch Green onions
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 dozen Eggs
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese

    Grease 13x9 pan

    Cut out shred bread into 1 inch square pieces

    Layer 1/2 bread, 1/2 cheese, 1/2 meat, 1/2 onions

    Repeat for second layer

    Beat eggs and pour over top slowly making sure to cover entire dish.

    Cover and refrigerate over night.

    Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before cooking.

    Let stand.

    (I'm impatient and never do this but it does turn out better if you do) Preheat oven to 325

    Bake covered with foil for 45 minutes

    Uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes

    Remove from oven and add dollops of sour cream and Parmesan cheese

    Place back in oven for additional 10 minutes uncovered

    Remove and let stand 10 minutes before cutting
