- 8 slices white bread (cut crust off)
- 2 c. Cheddar cheese
- 5 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. whole milk
- 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. whole milk
Directions

1Place bread in a 3-quart casserole dish.

2Butter each slice of bread.

3Top with cheese.

4Beat eggs, 2 1/2 cups milk and dry mustard together.

5Pour over cheese.

6Cover and refrigerate overnight.

7Before cooking, mix soup and 1/2 cup milk together and pour over egg mixture.

8Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours. (Sausage may be browned and crumbled over top.)
