- 6 slices bread
- 1 1/2 lb. sausage (hot)
- 6 oz. grated Swiss cheese
- 3/4 c. half and half
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
Directions

1Place bread in 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.

2Brown sausage. Drain off excess fat.

3Spread over bread.

4Sprinkle cheese evenly on sausage.

5Mix together half and half, milk, eggs, salt and dash of pepper.

6Beat well.

7Pour over layers of cheese, sausage and bread.

8Let set in the refrigerator overnight.

9Set out 30 minutes before baking.

10Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
