  • 2 c. diced ham or cooked, crumbled bacon or sausage
  • 2 c. grated cheese
  • 8 more slices bread without crusts
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. canned milk
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard

Directions

    Layer the first 4 ingredients in order in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Beat remaining ingredients together and pour over bread in pan.

    Cover in refrigerator overnight.

    In the morning, make a topping of 2 cups crushed cornflakes and 1/2 cup melted butter. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
