- 1 lb. sausage
- 1/2 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bread, crusts trimmed
- 6 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
Directions

1Tear up bread slices and place in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

2Brown and drain sausage.

3Spoon sausage over bread crumbs.

4Sprinkle cheese over sausage.

5Beat together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper and mustard.

6Pour egg mixture over the bread, sausage and cheese.

7Chill overnight in refrigerator.

8Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.

9Cheese will rise to top during baking.
