  • 16 slices bread (cut crusts off)
  • 8 slices ham (1/8 to 1/4-inch thick)
  • 8 slices sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 8 beaten eggs
  • 3 c. milk
  • 3 c. corn flakes, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. melted oleo

Directions

    Butter 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.

    Layer dish with 8 slices of bread.

    Cover with slices of ham and cheese.

    Mix eggs, milk, mustard and salt and pour over bread.

    Let stand overnight in the refrigerator.

    When ready to cook, add melted butter to crushed corn flakes and spread over top.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Good morning!
