Ingredients
- 16 slices bread, without crusts
- 1 lb. sliced ham, cut in bite-size pieces
- 8 slices each: American and Swiss cheese (sandwich size)
- 6 beaten eggs (or Egg Beater equivalent)
- 1/2 tsp. onion salt
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 3 c. milk
Directions

1In a large rectangular casserole (9 x 14-inches), make first layer of 8 slices bread, side by side.

2In next layer, place half ham pieces.

3Next layer 8 slices American cheese, then another layer of bread, ham and Swiss cheese.

4Mix last 4 ingredients and pour over layers.

5Cover and refrigerate overnight.

6Just before baking, sprinkle with buttered crumbs (mix 3 cups crushed corn flakes with 1/2 cup melted butter).

7Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 40 to 50 minutes.

8Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
