  • 1 lb. Webber sausage (ground)
  • 1/2 to 3/4 lb. bacon
  • 12 slices cubed bread
  • 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 qt. milk
  • Worcestershire sauce and pepper to taste

Directions

    Fry and drain sausage and bacon; mix together.

    Butter long casserole dish and line bottom with half of the bread.

    Sprinkle with half of the cheese; add all the sausage and bacon.

    Layer bread and cheese again.

    Beat eggs; add milk, Worcestershire, pepper, salt and mustard.

    Pour over meat mixture and cover. Refrigerate overnight.

    Bake at 325°, uncovered, 45 minutes to 1 hour.
