- 18 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 small jar sliced mushrooms
- 1 lb. bacon or sausage, fried or browned until crisp and then drained on paper towel
- 1 c. mayonnaise (must use mayonnaise)
- 1 small jar chopped pimentos
- pepper to taste
- chives to taste
Directions

1Mix soup, mushrooms, pimentos, mayonnaise and seasonings. Layer alternately with hard-boiled eggs, bacon (or sausage) in a 3-quart casserole.

2End with sauce on top. Bake at 350° until bubbly, about 30 minutes.

3Serve with fried apples and hot biscuits.
