Ingredients

  • 2 lb. sausage, browned and drained
  • 10 slices bread (remove crust and cut into four pieces)
  • 3 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt or less
  • 2 1/4 c. milk
  • 6 beaten eggs

Directions

    Mix together soup, dry mustard, salt, milk and eggs.

    Layer in a 9 x 12-inch casserole dish:

    bread, sausage, mixture and cheese, then repeat.

    Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 300°.
