- 1 lb. ground sausage, cooked and drained
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 8 slices bread, crust trimmed
- salt and pepper (optional)
Directions

1Place 4 slices of bread in bottom of casserole dish.

2Sprinkle cooked sausage on top of bread, then cheese.

3Place the last 4 slices of bread on top of cheese.

4Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper together.

5Pour egg mixture over casserole.

6Cover and set in refrigerator overnight.
