- 1 lb. mild sausage
- 6 slices low-fat bread
- 1 1/2 c. low-fat Longhorn or Cheddar cheese
- 1 pkg. Egg Beaters
- 2 c. low-fat milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. French's mustard
- 1 stick butter
Directions

1Use 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.

2Cook sausage; drain and rinse. Butter bread on one side or melt butter and dip.

3Cube bread. Layer bread in bottom of casserole.

4Sprinkle sausage over bread. Sprinkle cheese over sausage.

5Combine eggs, milk and mustard; stir.

6Pour over mix.

7Cover and refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours (as long as 24 hours).

8Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes. Serve with a fresh salad, crescent rolls and orange juice, if desired.
