Ingredients

  • 9 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 large and 1 small can evaporated milk
  • 4 slices bread, buttered
  • 1 1/2 lb. sausage, browned and drained
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. black pepper

Directions

    Cut bread into cubes and line bottom of 13 x 9-inch casserole. Sprinkle a layer of browned sausage and then layer shredded cheese. Mix eggs, milk, salt, mustard and pepper and pour over top of other ingredients.

    Chill in refrigerator overnight.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
