- 1 lb. ham, sausage, bacon, etc.
- 1 doz. eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 loaf white bread, crusts cut off
- 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions

1Line bottom of greased pan with bread slices.

2Whip eggs and milk.

3Place meat over bread.

4Pour egg mixture over top.

5Place shredded cheese on top. Bake for 1 hour at 350°.

6Twenty minutes before done, make white sauce.

7Melt 1/2 cup butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add enough flour to make paste.

8Add 4 cups milk slowly, stirring constantly. Cook until thick. Add 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese.

9Stir until melted.

10Pour sauce over casserole when serving.
