- 8 slices white bread, crusts trimmed
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese
- 1 lb. sausage, cooked
- 2 c. milk
Directions

1Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

2Place bread as a liner in bottom of dish.

3Sprinkle with cheese, then with sausage.

4Mix together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper; pour over sausage and cheese.

5Cover tightly with foil; refrigerate overnight.

6Bake next morning, covered, for 30 to 35 minutes at 350° (or until eggs are set).
