- 1 1/2 lb. sausage (hot or mild)
- 8 1/2 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 9 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 3 slices bread, diced
Directions

1Brown sausage and drain.

2Spread crumbled sausage on bottom of 2-quart baking dish.

3Sprinkle the grated cheese over the bread crumbs.

4Mix the eggs and milk together and pour over the mixture. Cover the casserole and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.

5It will keep 48 hours before baking.

6Put in cold oven at 350° and bake for 40 minutes.

7Let stand 2 minutes before serving.

8Yields 8 servings.
