- 2/3 c. margarine
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 c. rolled oats
- 2/3 c. peanuts
- 10 strips bacon or 1 c. raisins (if you use bacon, you will have to cook it crisp, drain and crumble it.)
Directions

1Beat margarine, sugar and egg in large mixing bowl.

2Add flour and baking soda.

3Mix well.

4Stir in rolled oats, cheese, peanuts and bacon or raisins.

5Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cooking sheets. Leave space between each cookie.

6Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Cool on wire racks.

7Store in refrigerator.

8Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
