- 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 lb. sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 3 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt

1Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Butter one side of bread.

4Put 2 layers bread, sausage and cheese.

5Pour milk-egg mixture over layer.

6Use spatula to push down until milk comes to top.

8Refrigerate overnight.
