Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1/3 c. diced green pepper
  • 1 c. diced ham
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. dry precooked rice
  • 1 (28 oz.) can Aylmer tomatoes
  • 1 (19 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Melt butter or margarine in frying pan.

    Cook onion and green pepper until tender.

    Add ham and brown lightly.

    Remove from heat and stir in mustard and Worcestershire sauce.

    Place dry rice in buttered 2-quart casserole dish.

    Top with tomatoes and ham mixture.

    Cover with corn.

    Sprinkle with shredded cheese on top. Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 35 minutes.
